my fixes

i get fixated (perhaps even obsessive...?) easily. especially when life is hectic, there is certain comfort in having those little things to fall back on and enjoy. nice to have constancy and consistency when everything else seems to whirl and buzz at a million miles per minute.

so here are my current fixes:

- joshua radin's music! his voice, lyrics, melody.....it's like a massage for the soul. my current favorite tune of his: "sky." melancholic and upbeat....can't get enough!

- "grey's anatomy." :) ok, i admit that sometimes it gets trashy. and really, how do those people live such tangled love lives and get any work done?!? but the characters are so likeable, the medical cases so fascinating, the dialogue so witty and the music so DARN good! the fact that DVDs are cheap here only enables the cause further.

- headbands. i haven't really worn headbands since probably junior high, but i've rekindled my love for them recently. they're perfect for lazy days....pull the hair back into a ponytail and slap on a headband, good to go.

- green tea. i drink enough coffee to kill a horse. in an effort to remain caffeinated but cut back on the beans, i've started drinking green tea at work, making a pot a day. feeling zen already.

- peanut butter oreos. 'nuff said.

cups of coffee: none, yet!

mood: procrastinating.....
