three women in zhongshan park
lolling about in the branches of two low trees
languid and laughing, backs stretched
over slightly arching limbs
hammock-style, squinting up into the blue canopy sky.
one catches my eye
and smiles a toothless grin
while she sways side-to-side
scratching her back
like some docile bear.
